Maintain Kurdish Language
One of the goal of KAG is to maintain and enhance Kurdish language among Kurdish community in U.S by encouraging families to practice Kurdish native language at home and teaching their children’s basic Kurdish language through various channels of education to maintain the boundaries with home land.
ADVOCACY for free press and Human rights
Another goal of KAG is to advocate for free press and speech and protect human rights in Iraq including Kurdistan Region, Syria, Iran and Turkey. Through our contacts in U.S, we pressure officials and government to protect freedom of speech, free press, and human rights. We work with various groups and organizations in Kurdistan and United States to promote freedom of speech, create a safe environment for press, and stop any violations of human rights in those countries.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
KAG works to enhance the education of the Kurds youth by creating a healthy environment through practice of teaching, advising, dialogue, toleration, and mutual understanding in a civil and democratic manner.
KAG encourage families to seek consultations and advisers to help their youth to have better understanding of various colleges, programs, financial aids to better position themselves for the future of their youth.
ADVOCACY & CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
KAG recognizes that one of the most effective ways to respond to challenges discriminatory and effectively advocate for immigrant rights, is to organize. Our long-term goal is to help develop and nurture the skills necessary for sustained civic participation of Kurdish communities in U.S. Understanding that community power is built over time, KAG uses organizing tools like voter registration and mobilization to empower, engage, and increase voter representation during each election cycle.

KAG tries to involve the Kurdish community in education, community service, maintain a Kurdish culture that entails respect, unity, and tolerance. KAG will also initiate/participate in a variety of activities which will enhance the sense of identity and bonds among all Kurds.
